We hung up my grandson's Mickey Mouse special edition to use as a height chart and didn't want to poke the skis into wood. These spring-loaded ties work perfectly and are so tight that he won't tighten them as he grows. Many grow tables draw and write on skis, but we didn't want to ruin these cute skis, so spring-loaded straps hold them on a painted wooden board where mom and dad can write between the skis while their little ones grow. Order more after you've used them - to mount other skis on our walls - we have old skis that were saved because we don't want to pierce them to hang them - so now we've found our product! Thanks very much!
