I love how inexpensive these ignition coils are. They look solid and should be of decent quality. The packaging was amazing. I had no problem installing these ignition coils on my '99 Grand Marquis. The electrical connectors have to be firmly squeezed and wiggled to actually snap into place, but that's fine. My car has 48,000 miles but it had original ignition coils that were flooded with antifreeze when the intake manifold failed. These coils appear to make the motor more responsive and smoother at idle. For this good price I would say go get it! An automotive coil costs $70-80. It's outrageous! When they arrived I tested them with an ohmmeter. Each coil had a resistance of 0.5 ohms on the primary and about 6.4 kΩ on the secondary. (Acceptable ranges: -0.3-1.0 ohms primary, 5.5-9.5K ohms secondary) The secondary winding is checked with a wire on one terminal and the other on the spring inside the case. All these coils were even ripped off. Buy them. They work great! And they are cheap!
