Good first sewing kit
My daughter was 6 years old when she got this. The kit is well made and easy to understand; The size and scope make it a project that inspires confidence because it's not that difficult to accomplish. It takes a little time and patience, but you can see progress quickly. My daughter wasn't a complete novice at this type of sewing, she was playing with non-printable plastic canvas, so she knew a thing or two about the mechanics of embroidery. It was her first project that had a template rather than just freeform, and she was able to complete it in a few sessions.
