This mouse pad is a BIG update to my previous mouse pad (the standard flat square mouse pad). I wanted one with a foam palm rest because I'm a full-time student, semi-online, and write LOTS of reports. I also have carpal tunnel from everything I type, and using the mouse for long periods has resulted in some cramping/numbness in my wrist, hand, and fingers. I've had this mouse pad for a few months now and I'm very glad I bought it. My wrist feels much better, I haven't had any cramps or numbness while using the mouse. I have a wireless mouse that works the same as the old mouse pad; No cursor twitching or trouble moving the mouse itself, it just does what it's supposed to. The foam seems to become a little less firm/textured with use, but I prefer that as it was a little stiff when I first used it. have" for all my future mouse pads in case I need to replace this one. It's not sticky, but it allows the mouse pad to stay in place. It's a kind of shiny, flexible "film" that allows the Mouse pad allows it to stick to my desk and it doesn't slip when I mouse over the mat. If I want to move the pad I just have to pick it up and put it down, it's that easy and it really stays in place when I try to push it (just to see if it moves.) Arrived 2 days after ordering, no problem with packaging or product, easy to take out of the plastic sleeve.
