This belt ended up being way better than I expected for the price. The leather is high quality, the stitching is solid, and the carabiners are heavy duty. I like that the strap that holds the weight isn't a chain. It doesn't scratch up my weights. It also has some sort of rubbery material in it to keep weights from sliding around on the strap. Genius! And a very nice touch. There is a thick layer of padding covered in soft black suede material on the inside of the belt, which was also a pleasant surprise. What stands out about this belt is that it has an additional strap on it that tightens it around your waist, rather than just using the weight of the plates you attach to it to hold it on your body. This makes the already awkward process of hooking and unhooking the weights a bit easier. For reference, I'm a small female with a 29 inch waist, and this belt fits, but it's *almost* too big. I also am really digging the look of this belt. It's bad a$$. Overall, this belt far exceeded my expectations both in looks and function. All of the little added thoughtful design elements, coupled with solid construction, cause it to rise above your typical dip belts. You won't regret buying it.
