When it comes to backpacks, best quality counts

This little backpack.bag.Mann-Sling or whatever you want to call it is a great combination of aesthetics and mechanical design - these are two key features I'm always looking for and note in backpacks. Rating - if I find them both. And I rummaged through many bags to find this one. At first I was put off by the flashy blue color label, but luckily it's actually a much richer and more complex color. More of a gorgeous navy blue metallic that I really like. With its sturdy yet elegant construction made from durable yet elegant materials, it's definitely more in the masculine category. Lots of pockets and nooks and crannies for such a small person, all with great zippers. Good padding. Lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. I like the fact that it's metal, but I don't like that it's so thin that I have to wear goggles to make the connection. And because the bars are tiny and just as thin, they're just as difficult to use. Not as convenient to use as the ubiquitous thicker plastic version found in many bags, including some of their own for use in the dark if necessary. Not sure how this got past NICGID's quality control committees as their products are amazing. ZWEI is something like a mesh water bottle pocket on the side that's so small that even the smallest plastic water bottle won't fit inside. And as you can see from her photo, even YOU couldn't find a small enough water bottle. Although maybe a tiny umbrella or glasses could be placed there which would actually be better. Lined outer pocket for glasses (or mobile phone) in the same place. Maybe the next iteration? But as I said, these are subtleties. I will still keep this wonderful bag as the positives MUCH outweigh the small things.
