If you think $25 on a hand forged knife is too good to be true, you're right. This is not hand forged. So it could very well be handmade. Looking at the blade, it is clear that the pattern on it, which should be hammer blows, is simply a pattern stamped into the sheet metal before the knife blank is cut. The cut looks nice, the handle is also nicely shaped and feels good in the hand and is quite sharp. Paper test passed. The blade is thick in the butt and looks like carbon steel. The leather sheath is quite durable and looks nice, not great, but not cheap either. So all said. While this is clearly not a forged knife, it costs $25.
