I ordered this as part of my Halloween costume but can also wear it to work. I ordered a size larger than my usual size. I'm average in everything (5ft 7in, 145lbs) and based on the size chart and reviews I ordered a large just in case. The big one was definitely not big. It was more like a small/medium. The part of the skirt itself is quite stretchy so I placed it on my hips and that part was fine. But then I couldn't even fasten it 1/2. The waist does not stretch. I even tried it on with my high waisted shaping panties which reduced my waist by an inch. And still couldn't close it. I may need a very large one, but I'll just return it and find something else because I don't want to end up with another item that doesn't fit. Maybe it was a mistake and mislabeling, I'm not sure, but I know I'm definitely not very tall. Waist was 28 inches.
