Review on adidas Grand Court Sneaker for Women by Andrea White

I've worn Vans and Converse for decades but hate the way they wear out. Decided to try these. Pretty tight when they arrive so I haven't been able to wear them all day yet. They offer more comfort and overall support compared to Vans and Chucks. I found I can't wear them comfortably when the laces are in all the holes, I had to undo the last one and unfortunately that doesn't make them as tight as they could be. When those bottom lace holes were laced shut, the tongue would dig into the top of my foot at the bend, and when not digging in, it would slip and rub. The only option was to unlace them. My other issue is that my feet get hot on days when I can wear them for a decent amount of time. They have no ventilation. Sure, I'm transitioning from canvas shoes to leather shoes, but I don't know how I'm going to get through a day at Disneyland in them without taking them off every now and then to cool off. All in all, it's really not a bad shoe. The pink shade I have is a little shimmery and they look really pretty. Great price and they arrived quickly. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9. Some have suggested ordering a down jacket for a closer fit, but given the ventilation issues, I'm glad I didn't.
