I accidentally dropped my computer and ruined my screen. I called Toshiba to find out how much it would cost to fix the problem. They wanted me to drop more than half of what I paid for the computer itself. Luckily I found some YouTube videos on how to replace the screen myself. I'm a girl and I'm not particularly mechanical, but as they say, it was so easy. Also, I didn't realize when I bought it that it was supposed to be an LED and not the LCD that originally came on my computer. So it scared me. However, I checked and the LED screen is actually the best type of screen and it works so very happily. I checked for dead pixels, I don't have them! This screen cost a quarter of what I would have paid to have it fixed. So if you have an accident, this is the way to go. Good luck folks!
