If this moisturizer smelled better I would give it at least 4 stars. This is a good facial moisturizer and feels good on the skin. You don't need much, just about half a pump. well absorbed; However, it does not smell like moisturizer. It has a chemical smell that I can't describe too well. The closest thing I can think of is that it smells a bit like paint thinner, but not as strong as paint thinner. I can't describe it any other way. I would have preferred if it didn't smell like anything or have a simple clean scent. It's hard to want to put it on your face because of the smell. If I plan on wearing makeup I can use it in the morning but I don't want to sleep with it on and smell it when I fall asleep.
