Bought this to renovate a solid wood coffee table that had some scratches and scuffs. While this material is easy to apply and cleans up smoothly, it's not really a wood putty. It's not putty that can be sanded off or even dirty putty that needs to be scraped off, it's more like plastic or epoxy and it's very shiny. It doesn't mix well with wood and looks totally unnatural even with proper color mixing. When sunlight falls on a table, lines and dots appear on it that are completely different from the rest of the table. It's less of a problem when the room isn't very bright, but I still wish I'd stopped and found another product instead of just trying it. Maybe plastic faux wood over pressed board or faux wood is fine for cheap Ikea furniture, but it looks terrible on real wood.
