I wear it to work every day and keep rubbing my luggage rack. The finish is still bright and shiny. You have to look very closely to see the minimal wear. Also, the teeth look like some kind of plastic. I was skeptical and expected them to wear out quickly but I don't see them. Is the belt too long? Cut it. It fits perfectly with my belt loops and is quick to put on. After removing it I found it easiest to pull a little harder before releasing the latch. Also in a nice box and a note from the seller.
