In my log home I have never thought of a backpack vacuum for personal use. Now I will never use Dyson again. Due to the very long and thick power cord, I can vacuum almost the entire two-story house on one outlet. I can move objects like chairs and beds without turning off the vacuum. Sticks and nozzles have high mobility and easily penetrate under the bed. Very powerful and much more effective on wooden floors and flat woven wool carpets than Dyson or equivalent. Settler Knockers, as they do not work well on Persian rugs and are ineffective on hardwood floors. The optional flat bottom nozzle is the best I've ever used. I'm something of an expert as I own everything from very expensive vacuums to dust collectors to advertised Dysons. If you are a tidy person and don't like dirt and dust in the house, this is what you need.
