I saw the headline/description "kids boys girls" and a size that claimed to be 8 inches long/tall and thought this would work for my 10 year old who had recently lost a stocking cap. When I received it, I noticed that it looked small. Then I washed it before wearing it and it got even smaller - I even let it air dry. Yes, it stretches and sits on his head, but it was too short and barely covered his ears. I gave it to my 1 year old neighbor and it fit him perfectly.
