I use this mostly for getting phone messages or doing simple math and it's a great way to save on scraps of paper. I often answer the phone and then have to transfer that person to someone else in the office and that's great for jotting down who's on the line and what they want and then hitting the bin button and that goes away forever after I conveyed them. I used to use about a pad of stickers each month to write down the messages that just ended up in the trash, and now I don't use them for that purpose anymore. I was writing on a tablet once and left it for a long weekend and it still erased beautifully when I got back. It's surprisingly strong, albeit thin, and can probably break fairly easily, so I'd argue against giving it to young children (although for the price, who cares if it breaks?). Yes, it doesn't save what you write, but for me it's ideal. Given the low price, I'm debating whether everyone in the office can use them.
