I love this phone system. Connect a landline phone to the base, 5 phones connect wirelessly to the base without the need for a phone line for each of them. There are 4 mini bases that are for charging only. Phones have a pretty good range. I place the base in the middle of my house and my phones work fine around the house. I've also enabled call filtering so anyone who isn't on my list of programmed contacts has to press a button to be verified (note, however, that this will also prevent automated service calls from your doctors from working, unless , They added their numbers to your list (this is not a problem for me as I use my cell phone for them). My phone rarely rings unless I want to speak to someone. Another feature I recently added is the ability to connect a bluetooth headset to my system. As long as I have a landline phone, I want to use it as my PBX. :)
