Review on πŸ‘œ Z Joyee Vintage Shoulder Shopper Handbag - Women's Handbags, Wallets, and Hobo Bags by Wayne Drakh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoulder strap, a good size overall and doesn't leave me overstuffed.

I was in dire need of a decent bag that: 1) wouldn't be heavy before I filled it 2) would have enough pockets to organize things without going overboard 3) easy without too transporting would get in my way 4) wouldn't I have it turned into a stuffed bag with everything in here? This bag has it all! As someone whose previous bags doubled as suitcases, I wanted to go with a bag that didn't have so much hardware and leather detailing that the bag weighed 5 pounds before I even added anything to it. This bag is perfect for that. The canvas is very durable, the inside is nice enough (not trendy, not cheap, just nice), and that suits me. The color is more turquoise than blue, but I think that's okay too. I'm not particularly picky about looks here and not so much about functionality. The straps are great. The smallest ones, the handles, I don't use to carry the bag, just open it up, but the shoulder straps work well and I love the crossbody strap. Like someone cursed with big breasts, as Tahani Al Jameel would say, the strap sits on my shoulder, doesn't dig into my neck at all, goes right between my breasts and the bag itself sits right on my hip. Big. I can do what I'm supposed to do, the bag stays where I put it, it also doesn't bump into anyone when I move and I'm very happy about that, let me tell you. I thought there would be quite a bit, but only in a couple of areas: the hole is pretty narrow, so if you have something wide you'll have to wiggle it in somehow (I found with the Docs package that it didn't wiggle that much good) and only expands towards the bottom of the bag. My wallet and Kindle are 7 inches long (according to Revane, who I bought both from) so you can use that as a guide. To be clear: for my daily work, this is beautiful and fashionable. I am determined not to turn my wallet into a mystery zone. WTF is in there? again, so this is kind of a pro for me. The other area where it's smaller is in the very narrow (but oddly deep?) side pockets, and by the way, the small leather embellishment with the logo on one side didn't fit in my purse. , so I'm assuming it's either not being added anymore or only appearing for certain colors. However the small side pockets are narrow but great for my inhaler and eye drops on one side and a couple of pens on the other. They're quite deep for such small bags, but I love that the handle is easily accessible from the outside of my purse! The interior of the bag is pretty standard. There is a small pocket and a large pocket on one side, and a medium sized zippered pocket on the other side, which I use to keep a spare car key and a toy cube. The divider is another zip compartment but I don't keep much in it to be honest. I have my wallet on one side, my phone and Kindle on the other, and paper napkins if needed. I could fit more, maybe a little crochet project, but I'm trying to start as short as possible. Outside of the purse, there is another medium-sized pocket on one side that I use to keep my wallet. Clicking it lets me place my phone, but it's a bit of a stretch. One of my favorite features of this bag is the flat bottom. I put the bag down and it doesn't tip over like any other bag I've had. Carrying it over my shoulder still makes it easy to reach out and grab what I'm looking for without even looking and keep my bag right where I want it! Overall I am very happy with this bag. It does what I want, fits all my stuff, and helps me stay organized.
