I like that this straightener heats up quickly and you know the exact temperature you are using. It has a very durable cord and will turn itself off if not used for an hour. The only downside I have is that the on/off/heat button is very easy to touch while curling your hair. I'm better, so I know how to avoid it, but it would be nice if it had a piece of plastic that slides over it after you turn it on and didn't have to be readjusted so you don't get it accidentally hit and the temperature increased or turned off.
