If you are interested in this product please note that USB 3.0 ports are fine, at around 100MB/s would I don't do it. Don't edit it, but you can use it, but if you really want to use an SD reader, be careful! You get around 20MB/s, and besides, it doesn't work when transferring large files. anything over 10gb is a bad idea for a reader, the only reason i'm not upset anymore is that it works pretty well alongside the sd card reader. The ports look clean on my desk and the fact that I don't have to tape them to keep them from moving when I plug and unplug devices is great. However, if you look at this product, I'm pretty sure that the SD card port is of great importance to you, so the product's uselessness is a big problem. Maybe you should buy the USB only version and buy a good SD card. instead the reader.
