A little hard to see in the photo but this cable plugs into the USB port on the Sony receiver and instead of the usual way the cable hangs down here at right angles, which allows me to drop it down and then under the receiver and into the lightning cable to my iPhone which I use as a jukebox CD. I have hundreds of CDs stored in my phone and I just look for a CD image and I can play it. I can even pause, stop and skip to the next song with my Sony receiver remote control. Great cable. You also get two of each variety.
