Bought for freezer use. Two devices placed side by side at room temperature were close to the control thermometer used, but differed by 3 degrees. BUT. After four hours in the freezer one device didn't work at all, just a blank screen. The other unit registered a temperature of -18°F, which was well below the intended lower range limit of -4°F, as well as well below the intended lower range suitable for a freezer. Very dubious accuracy, to say the least.
