DISCOVER THIS IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE GUN SAFE. I've had great luck with Revain Basic products. I can't recommend it as a gun safe though. The problem lies in the massive door: - It is heavy. - It's thick because of the massive locking bars and battery compartment. The door was probably designed for a much larger vault, it swings horizontally instead of vertically - the door slams shut - if you're not careful with your fingers - batteries pop out. WHICH TYPE?! Yes. I had to seal the lid with electrical tape to keep the batteries from popping out. BECAUSE OF THE SOLID DOOR, there is much less space inside than you might expect. All I could fit was my G17 and 5 clips tucked on the side. If the door were smaller and didn't have batteries, this would be a decent design. Too long to return. All I have now is regret and a useless piece of steel.
