It WORKS! I was skeptical, but when my new rug started making "I smell like 3 dogs" I decided to buy it and use it. I sprinkled it liberally before bed and wanted to vacuum it up the next day, but that didn't happen. I stayed there for 2 days and the smell disappeared. I lay down on the carpet to pet one of the 3 dogs mentioned and NO SMELL! The second place I tried was our carpeted room where we keep dog kennels. I had a professional cleaning done on this room and I still can't get rid of the smell. Every time we close and reopen the door, I get annoyed because I smell the faint odor of urine. It makes me crazy. This time I got to it the next day so it sat on the carpet for about 24 hours. Again, I'm spreading it widely, especially in a place where a puppy had an accident about a month ago. A few hours later, when I sprayed it for the first time, I noticed that the smell became more intense. And after vacuuming? No smell! I'm excited! I bought a few more bottles and am about to head to the playroom! I think the key is to leave it on overnight. I've done this on both light colored carpet and beige carpet and it hasn't harmed it in any way.
