2/21/19 We have a 50lb Border Collie and based on the reviews I bought him an XL. He would probably be in better hands in the Bolshoi. It runs about 2 inches from its back to its tail. Due to the adjustment around the waist, I was able to make it snug enough to fit and hug his body. It has no lining and I wish it was a little warmer for going outside in inclement weather. We haven't used it on his hike yet, so more information will follow later.
