Great mat for crafting use, protects surface and doesn't slide
I had never really thought about using silicone mats as a craft mat. I can be messy when painting, so I usually put some parchment sheets under where I am working. But those can be very slick and cause your work to shift.This is a great mat for crafting. I will definitely be using this when I paint. I can also see this mat being very helpful when working on earrings. It would be a nice, stable surface and would protect the wires and beads as well. Very nice, if not thin, mat. As you can see in my photos, this mat is not super thick, but it really does not have to be.
