making the whole strap look like faux leather

The camel color was almost indistinguishable from the color of her brown strap. I ordered a set of each color and they both look the same. The description says genuine leather, but it's actually faux leather. If it's real leather, it's a very thin layer laminated to a vinyl base. making the whole strap look like faux leather. The company must clearly describe the product.
