Washable, light!
I bought these beautifully tailored nylon "joggers" for 6 weeks while traveling to many cities in Europe on vacation. They can be washed, they don't weigh anything, they dry quickly. They don't need to be ironed and fit well without being bulky. Put on a nice t-shirt and you can go for a day of walking. I wear size XL (US 16) and they fit perfectly, even look slim! They might even work well in the rain as I expect them to get wet, but I don't expect them to be waterproof or waterproof, they just dry quickly.
