Perfectly protects my 8" Lenovo Yoga Tablet. The small indentations inside really protect the device from bumps. The sipper is long enough to slide the table in and out easily, but it holds your tablet tight when You forget to close it. The only change I made in this case is removing the velcro on the outside pocket. It wasn't needed and wasn't installed very well. It got in the way more than anything, and with the hooks inside the case had a good potential to scratch the screen of any other device that fits in a pocket at any given time. A sharp knife and some patience will eliminate this minor annoyance. My wife has a different tablet case, the same Lenovo Yoga , and she doesn't like it as much as I think I'll replace it with one of these when she finally gets tired of it.
