Everything is fine. Does not hold a point when boning Kue Stag. I would imagine this bad boy being even worse in big game like elk or elk. For a boned deer I wouldn't buy it again. maybe something else is ok. Although this is a boning knife I don't know what you would use it for, it would be great. It's not a filleting knife, it's not a butcher's knife and it's certainly not a butcher's knife. I do not know. This knife didn't hold the blade well when butchering 60lb deer, but it served the purpose in the end. Not impressed and not too estatic.
