So I have a little problem with this drive. The description says it works on iOS devices, but one of the slides in the description says it's not compatible with iPhone and iPad, that's half true. The drive does not work with any iPhone. This is because all iPhones have a Lightning connector and cannot use a USB Type-C device. The drive will work with a 4th generation iPad Air or iPad Pro with the new Type-C connector. The drive does not come with a software application that you can download, meaning when you connect the drive to the iPad. Nothing has happened. Don't worry, you just open the iPad's built-in Files app and it will recognize the drive. I was then able to play audio and video files directly from the disc, as well as copy files from the disc to the iPad's internal storage and back. I have an old USB stick like this for my latest iPad and phone, both of which use Lightning. Harbor. This drive asked me to download an app for it when I first plugged it in, and that's how it worked. For that drive, just use the Files app and you're good to go. The drive works great and now I can copy movies onto the drive and take them with me to watch on my iPad on long trips and in waiting rooms. This is a good deal for the money.
