Review on Fosmon Bi Directional Passthrough Satellite Playstation by Sean Bouchard

Not too many years ago I got my first monitor with HDMI connectivity and a Mac Mini with HDMI output. My monitor only had one HDMI port and I wanted to connect two devices, so I decided to get a switch. At that time there was only one, it was a completely new concept and of course expensive. It only handled the lower bandwidth of early HDMI protocols and its performance was questionable at best. Oh, and it was the size of a cigar box. Now in 2017 I wanted to add a third HDMI device to my bedroom TV, looked around and found this very affordable device. I chose it based on the reputation of the brand, although there are several models that are externally identical. I was not disappointed. The device itself is all metal with a very high build quality. I like that the switch is mechanical, which I think will be more reliable in the long run, and the fact that I can see or feel which input is selected instead of which because there are also two LED indicators to indicate. no matter if the input is A or B. The included documentation is well written and better than I expected. One of the devices I wanted to use is a 4K Blu-ray player for a 4K TV. I bought a matching set of 3 short high quality HDMI cables to use with this switch. Absolutely no visual signal degradation or multi-channel audio issues. The signal is instant and perfectly synced every time I press the button to switch inputs. While it didn't affect how much I like this switch, I made a small improvement by attaching a piece of self-adhesive felt to the underside of the metal case. because I have it on fine furniture. Not everyone will need or want this, but without it, you can expect to scratch the edges of a metal box.
