Very easy to connect via phone and so much fun for the money! We have two of these, and you can pair them up for a duet (which is useful, because sometimes karaoke is easier with a friend or with booze. And you can't combine drunk driving! Find a spot on FM Vote where none Transmitter is whichever transmitter gets your location. Program the mic to the same FM location. Plug in the Bluetooth on your phone and turn on the music, then sing along! Family fun :) I don't like it the effects (echoes and flashing lights) but i can imagine a lot of people really love it. They charge fast enough and it seems like it's going to last long enough for everyone to take turns. We haven't had any durability issues, but we haven't used them much. They're not very durable, so it's a good idea to have some sort of case to put them in so they don't get damaged in the car.
