Review on Luggage Suitcase Fintie Baggage Identifiers by Larry Cole

Like the colour, thin labels

I wanted this primarily to make my luggage more visible. That they will do very well if they stay connected. I love purple and black accents. I like that it snaps so my information doesn't appear right away, although of course that won't stop anyone who actually wants to open it. The main strap is good and seems quite durable although I may have seen the edges fray. with time. The real problem is the flap on the label, the part you thread the main strap through and bend to snap it into place. It deformed visibly and slightly when I *gently* tugged. If this label gets caught somewhere or is pulled inaccurately, it will peel off immediately. The photo shows how thin it is. Although I believe it's leather, it's sheer leather with some sort of nylon(?) backing. The buckle's pin doesn't rest against the shank unless the strap is tightened (which you don't want as it could rip the tag off), but other than potentially snagging on something, it just seems in place and Place to stay good They were reasonably priced ($11 for two days) so I didn't have high expectations and for the price I'm happy with them. But I'll also reinforce that flimsy strap with black tape before even thinking about attaching them to any checked baggage. I will most likely keep them in my carry-on in case I need to check them in at the gate and carry something stronger for my checked bags.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
