Helpful and pretty sweet!
These things are very well made. They seemed very comfortable for my 4 month old son and actually stretched enough to fit my head (I tested them for effectiveness). They work just as well as expected. After all, they're just foam, and without music or active noise cancellation, they just block absorbing sound. I would recommend them for something like an airplane or fireworks.
