Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Genuine GM 213-2820 Accelerator Pedal Module - Quality GM Replacement Part by Joshua Talbot

The new one also had a dead zone.

Well that's half the price of anything else on the market for a reason. I changed mine because I wanted to find out why my truck keeps stopping. I thought maybe the ECM (computer) is losing the signal from the gas pedal under load. So when I used a multimeter to observe the resistance reading of the pedal as it was pushed to the floor and dead centered at 40% throttle, I thought I had found the problem. This new one I bought also had a dead center, but the dead center was about 75% gas. So I figured why would I want more without my truck and built it in anyway, assuming that a work truck often doesn't need 75%. Long story short there was a module on the side of the booster pump, I believe it's called the PMP? It was in stock at NAPA.
