Super slow write speed; When saving a 72 gigabyte ZIP file to this flash drive, the transfer rate was about 5 MB/s and the transfer is said to take 5 hours and 30 minutes. My computer supports USB 2.0, and in Windows 7 I changed the device settings to "Performance" [this did not increase the transfer speed]. Make sure you look at the read and write speeds for any flash drive you buy. I recommend Patriot Supersonic Rage 2 [400MB/s read, 200MB/s write] or Magnum 2 [400MB/s read, 300MB/s write] USB 3.1 [which are backward compatible with USB 2.0].
