20 cubes. The limit for this cute little baby is 20 dice. Since nobody else gave the exact number, I figured I'd help you, searched and searched, and just pulled the trigger on a whim. I love it and find it so adorable that I really wish I could fit more sets in it. Due to the plush belly, not so many cubes fit in. If you remove part of the padding and re-stitch, you might be able to squeeze in another set, but it's annoying. I use it for the dice I use in my current game and I also have the 12d6 set in it. It makes a great gift or just a must have because it's so adorable but the transition from Mimic to this one was definitely disappointing like all the other reviews I can't lie about that.
