Review on MICHELIN X-Ice 3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Ewa Jastrzbska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Stand on all-wheel drive Audi. Overall disappointed with the tires. First of all, I didn’t like how the tires behave in a turn (rolled, loose snow or ice) at all - they take it out. And this is at a speed of 20-30 km / h. And it's in full swing. The second thing I didn't like was that it was too soft. After summer tires, the feeling is like riding on balls that spring all the time. Any unevenness in the surface at speed leads to a loss of traction. To go fast on this rubber - only on asphalt. Snow is dangerous. I'm talking about ice in general. I also want to note the slurred reactions on the steering wheel. Perhaps the reason here is the height of the tire (235/55/17). On a low profile, the situation is probably better. The pros are comfort and quietness. If you move only around the city - even more or less an option. But, you need to "be on the lookout." For the track - strictly not recommended.

Pros
  • - soft; - very quiet.
Cons
  • - too soft; - uncertain on snow and ice; - do not hold in turn even at low speed.
