We used this tissue paper to create a background for a 3D butterfly. Second graders in the classroom enjoy tearing and spray-painting paper and watching the colors change as the paper dries. I've been doing the same project with different students every year for a number of years and the teachers always ask me to come back and do it again next year, whether I have kids in their class or not! Ordinary tissue paper does not provide such results. I also recommend using watercolor paper for better color pick-up. Be careful with the coloring.
