This is an awesome, budget option for someone looking for great preformance. I'm not a great golfer, and I'll never claim to be! But i can say, after only one session on the range, that this club will shave strokes off of my score! This is basically a clone of a Taylor Made Hi-Toe. Milling is flawless and functional (especially the sole milling!) Cuts right thru any terrain with ease. Great weight, premium feel, and the grip is wonderful! Unfortunately, I use a midsize grip so I'll have to swap it out, but I'll save this one for whichever club grip my 14 yr old son wants to replace next! It's clearly not a name brand grip, but it's super soft, super tacky and deflects any impact or vibration you'd normally feel. Feels very much like a tour velvet. I bought the 60 degree in the coffee finish (which is absolutely gorgeous BTW!) to replace my current one, a very "challenging" club. I've added the other wedges in this series to my list and will be replacing my current wedges asap! One more thing. I've seen several criticisms about the finish wearing off. OF COURSE the finish will eventually wear off! But a simple Google search of a used Taylor Made equivalent, will show the exact same wear. It's not a paint or a film coating, it's what I would describe as an acid etch, or some sort of chemical tint. There won't be chipping or stripping, it's more likely that there will be an exaggerated fade or discoloration at the points of impact. Buy it, you won't regret it. And let's be honest, you're not going to find ANYTHING better in a wedges for $55!
