I bought this to store some necklaces and flimsy scarves. I took it out of the box and got a splinter so take it out carefully and if you see rough wood you can file it down with a nail file or sandpaper if you don't mind stains. I moved my hands to the open position and they moved stiffly. Not sure why and will try to understand and fix it, not how I want to use my time. I can use it for its intended purpose, but it's hard to recommend. Update: The company emailed after this review and offered a refund. I declined as I was already working on it. Then they asked if I could improve my rating. This is an average product and worth the review. Average isn't terrible.
