I use this almost exclusively to play podcasts and it's great. What is very annoying, however, is the on/off switch. It's very easy to turn it on in your pocket or backpack and drain your battery. It's also easy to activate the function during use and switch to the next MP3 or menu. For songs that will only be mildly annoying, but for a two hour podcast it's not fun to find your place again. The workaround is to use the hold switch on the side whenever it's on or off. However, this makes it difficult to change the volume or pause when you need to react to the world around you. There's also the annoying habit of jumping from a podcast in your free time. That means when I turn it back on it has lost its place in mp3 and is in the main menu. I cannot explain what circumstances led to this.
