Review on πŸ“Š ELING 6 in 1 Multi-Functional GPS Gauge Meter: Speedometer, Tachometer, Hour Meter, Water Temperature, Fuel Level, Oil Pressure (10Bar), Voltmeter - 12V 85mm with Backlight by Jaie Bobin

Of course, it's not quite finished. Weak documentation. Decent quality, useful so worth it here.

I used the product to display the engine speed. Correctly? It also has other abilities that are good backups of what your car might already have. It was a problem getting input from the tachometer as most common sensors don't fit or work in my car. I have seen that I can read the RPM directly from the alternator and very easily. Finding the correct "scaling" of the sensor between a given engine and a range of meters is not easy. I haven't found a clear description of how to do this, although such things are quite easy to overcome with the help of voltage dividers and trimmers. GPS "speed" and the odometer of the trip really liked. The lack of a remote and settings button is a bummer.

Pros
  • No subscription required, GPS service is free, antenna/sensor is 12 feet long and cannot be trimmed. Mount the sensor anywhere, on or under the dashboard.
Cons
  • Negative impression
