I have many nieces and nephews and quite a few just don't open their mail. Last year I sent them a check for $3,000.00 and several never sent a thank you. Later I learned they didn't bother to open the plain white envelope. Now I was sending out invitations to my sister's birthday and wanted to make sure they opened the envelope. This yellow envelope was opened by everyone and my sister received 90 birthday cards. From now on, I'll know to use a brightly colored envelope if I want others to read my mail.
