Our 6 week old loves the carrycot. Used it to visit family at night (first time since birth) and she slept and slept like a champ in it. It was a little tricky getting the legs in and out (watch your toes so you don't pinch them) but after we practiced pulling it in and out a few times it was fine. The suitcase is even more useful. It also folds up so you can tuck it under your bed or just hide it in a closet. The only downside would be that the sleeping mat cover doesn't seem to come off easily. We wrapped him in a thin blanket and that helped make him a little cozier. In general, I recommend 100%.
