I would not recommend this tool. I used this to check my NGK spark plugs and realized something was wrong after the first 3 I checked seemed way below what they should have been installed from the factory. Of course I checked it with my calipers and it was about 0.004 inches. For example, I had to set the spacing to 0.044 inches, but to set the spacing correctly I had to check them until the gauge read 0.004 inches. "The stomata hole wasn't very useful. I think it's too big. I was afraid it would damage the iridium wire because it got so close to it. I have another slit tool that has wire loops on the edges, which had a notched pull tab on the side which was great for opening and closing the gap I wish I could find this tool.
