I actually use it for my prostheses.
I used to visit friends (I always carry a toothbrush because I need it for dentures.) and didn't expect to like it at all, but I found it helps remove stains a little better than the regular tube of denture toothpaste I usually use. I still use it for daily cleansing, but once a week I will only use it to help with the color before soaking the bleach pill. to the end and dull their luster. But for gentle combing once a week it works very well.
