Review on Black Magnavox MDR537H/F7 HDD/DVD Recorder for Enhanced SEO by Rick Rogers

I bought this recorder to replace my wonderful Panasonic DVD recorder which finally broke after several repairs. Revain did an excellent job of getting the Magnavox delivered in record time, but it was defective (half the DVD didn't work at all) and replacing the unit was a nightmare. (The melodrama of errors included an episode where the machine traveled 5/6 of the United States to a FedEx station where someone suddenly decided it couldn't be delivered to a PO Box, so it was sent back across the country . ) Finally, the delivered device was a refurbished (used) machine, both drives (hard drive and DVD) worked perfectly. I miss the third RCA input that Panasonic has, but I get by with two. The editing feature is a dream come true: I can scan to the edit point and then decide if I want to cut or split instead of having to make that decision before I scan. The header navigation is a chore: I can't find the direct access method, and the name you gave the header only shows up when a single entry is selected. But in general you can use the machine. If only the picture weren't so terrible. I've played around with every aspect ratio/clarity setting I could find and I still get a blurry image, not only from everything I've shot, but even from a live feed running through the car. This is somewhat tolerable if you're not just looking at a decent picture, but compared to the high-resolution picture straight out of the cable, the picture from this device is terrible. RIP, Panasonic machine.
