The purchase did not justify itself at all.

I took it when it was a flagship device for acc. price
If it cost half as much, then you can put up with some shortcomings.
And so the unfinished device, a soap bubble.
I have used far more than one android device, since the days of 2.3., So the user is experienced, I know what's what. So if someone thinks that he simply does not know how to handle the system, loaded with extra or something else, then this is not so.
Objectively, Samsung has problems with software, at the time of release from 8 so for sure.

Pros

I switched to it from the 6th iPhone, which served me faithfully for more than 3 years. After the Samsung, I returned to the iPhone, but already at 10. I will compare with them. -Design - in my opinion better than the iPhone with its protruding camera. -The screen is an excellent, high-contrast screen, but due to the design features at the screen's fold, the colors are distorted at the edges, plus for some reason my eyes get tired of the amold in this particular model. With 10 there are no such problems, although I changed the color profiles in the Samsung. -Camera sometimes overshoots with automatic settings, but generally good.

Cons

- System operation is unstable. It works fine, then it starts to blunt out of the blue. Moreover, the device was not particularly loaded with software, it was the last ate at that time. For a flagship, such work is unacceptable, I think. - Communication is unstable. Where the old 6ka caught, the Samsung refuses to catch categorically. You often get notifications that you have been called. The same was not the case with the iPhone. - Disgusting resistance of the insole to external influences. I treat devices very carefully, from the first day I wore it in a branded case, but nothing saved it from scratches. It feels like the phone is just scratching almost the air, and this is only for a month. For comparison, on 6k for three years there were only a couple of scratches. (I understand that aluminum and glass are different materials, but still). What will happen to him during long-term operation is scary to imagine -Useless Bixbi button. -Some software worked incorrectly, for example, the text on the photo disappeared in Instagram. I don't know if they've fixed it now or not, but it's happened more than once. Moreover, there was no such bug on another android device.
